“His engagement with the ordinary Ghanaian reflects a leadership style that resonates deeply with the people,” Maulvi Bin Salih noted, adding that such qualities define impactful and enduring leadership.
The visit by the Ahmadiyya delegation was also to commiserate with the Minister following a recent road accident he suffered while traveling to Wa in the Upper West Region for official duties. Mr. Iddrisu had been invited as a special guest to the graduation ceremony of the Nusra Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education.
Reflecting on the incident, the Ahmadiyya leader praised the Minister’s resilience and commitment to duty, noting that his decision to proceed with official responsibilities despite the traumatic experience had drawn admiration.
“The spirit of sacrifice he demonstrated speaks volumes about his dedication to national service,” he said.
Maulvi Bin Salih further described Mr. Iddrisu as part of a new generation of energetic and patriotic leaders capable of blending experience with innovation in governance. He expressed confidence that the Minister’s consistent commitment is a strong indicator of his readiness for higher leadership roles in the future.
He also urged Ghanaian youth to draw inspiration from the Minister’s discipline and sense of responsibility, encouraging them to invest in personal growth and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Expressing gratitude for the Minister’s safety, the cleric described his survival as a blessing to both the education sector and the country.
In response, Mr. Iddrisu thanked God for his life and expressed appreciation to the Mission for the visit and support. He also acknowledged the goodwill messages and solidarity shown by many Ghanaians during his recovery.
The Minister reaffirmed government’s commitment to expanding educational infrastructure to ensure access for communities across the country.
